Did my ten gallon cycle?

Ok I have had an unicycles tank now for a month and about maybe a week ago... Less then. A week ago the nitrites were 2ppm - 3ppm.. I was told by a fellow member to do water changes everyday (which probably saved my fish because the lady at petco told me not to worry only do changes once a week) anyways I tested to day and had nitrate 5.0 nitrite 0.25 ammonia at 1.0 ppm (did water change) but compared to before ny nitrites were at almost 3ppm now there down and nitrate is down so I didn't know if it cycled.

Not yet....when you're cycled you'll have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and some nitrate.

Ok thanks. I'll just keep changing water daily lol.... Its gotta happen sometime.
