It's just a fungus. Harmless and will go away in time. You can scrub it off but will most likely come back. Just an eye sore for a couple of months.

Lol okay that's good. Got a question if u know why. My levels are crazy right now I got amm .25, nitrite 5.0, nitrate 20. Why is my nitrite so high?

I remember reading you have 4ppm ammonia in your tap water? Are there fish in this tank? If not leave it. If so, you might have to wait for someone else to answer. Sorry. I don't have any experience with ammonia in tap water and fish in cycling.

Yes there r fish in the tank. I know what im doing with fish in cycle I was just wondering why the nitrites shot up that fast. Thanks.
