Feeding new mollies

Ok we'll I received two mollies friday ones a male other female. My problem is I don't have any tropical fish food to feed them all I have is Tetra fin goldfish flakes. Is this ok I've tried to feed them this they eat it sometimes but not all the time. So is it ok for me to feed them this or not.

Sometimes new fish take some time to settle in & eat properly but I'd spend the money on food that's more suited to their needs than specific to Goldie's.

If they eat it that should be fine temporarily, but you should get some tropical flake food ASAP.
