Hi All,

Rather simple question. On my 29 gal tetra filter, it came with a filter intake screen. On my new 75 top fin filter, it doesn't have one. Will this be okay? I don't understand why they wouldn't just include one!!

I'd say No. Fish, plants, or debris can clog the impeller. Not to mention fish injury and/or death.
I would go to the place the filter was purchased and explain that the part was missing and request a replacement.
