First nitrite

Day 18 into my fishless cycle I got my first nitrite reading which is 0.25ppm, I am so pleased to see it, I hope things now work out okay.
 
Good. At this point, do not add any more ammonia. Wait for ammo to read 0 PPM, and then maybe dose to 2 - 3 PPM. Also keep an eye on the nitrItes. If it gets to 5 PPM or more, do a massive water change, 90%, maybe 100%, and refill with water that has been treated with Prime at least 24 hours beforehand. you don't want chlorine /chloramine wiping out the bacteria colony you have worked so hard to achieve.
