I have a 10 day old tank that has a large rock with yellow fungi growing on it. I didn't think it would be a problem, and besides that the yellow looks cool!

Now there is sometype of growth on the rock that is concentrated on the yellow fungi.

I'll do my best to describe it:

It is an almost transparent, wispy, whiteish growth. Kind of a clear cottony look. Very fragile looking.

I'll try for a decent pic.

Anyway....whatcha think might be going on here? Should I be worried? The Danios don't try to eat it, but matbe a pleco would?

Thanks!

The yellow one.. "Cantharellus cibarius"? Have you done a search or looked for the same type?

No but I talked to the Fish store owner and he described to growth exactly as it was. Told me it would die off and be ok shortly.

I'm cool now.

Thanks.
