I'm getting a 46 Gallon Bow Front :D just like my subject lines says lol. I have one step in getting a larger tank. My goal is to get a tank over 100 Gallons :) Well tomorrow my parents are gona pick it up. Any ideas for fish? I can get bigger fish now :D heh.. I been stuck with a 10 gallon for more than 5 years. I'm currently 14 so I had since I was 9 and I didn't even buy the tank. It was in the garage of the house we moved into lol. Ok back to what I wanted to ask.
What are some fish you would recommend for the tank? I'm not sure if it's going to be planted. My 10 gallon is planted and plants aren't even growing that fast yet. I like most kinds of fish so just name some you like and would recommend for a 46 Gallon Tank. Oh btw I'm gona cycle it before I buy the fish lol. Just in case you though I was going to fill the tank up and add fish lol.

Congrats! Bowfront tanks are beautiful.

I'm an advocate of Goldfish.. beautiful, hardy, plenty of variety, and 46 gallons is big enough to support them. Classic fish.

Rainbowfish are gorgeous. I'm a particular fan of these: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=1024

Danios are an old favourite of mine - they shoal together, and can even take my attention away from my Dwarf Puffer when they find out it's feeding time. I've found that different varieties will school together as one family (which made it that much easier to purchase the lone Zebra Danio from Petco). Very fun to watch.

Congratulations on getting your new tank. With one that big have you thought of maybe getting a couple of Angelfish? You might also consider getting some Pearl Gouramis or Boeseman's Rainbowfish. I like both of those species because they get more beautiful as they get bigger. Here are links describing both.

You would probably like to get some fish that school together and the Rummynose Tetra would look good if you got ten or so.

Yes Bow fronts are beautiful :D It looks so good in the living room. And it doesn't even have the fish yet. XD. Hm I've had Angelfish before and liked them very much. A few of them will be in my tank. Zebra Danios I've seen them in the my favorite LFS, 3 for $.99. I could get some of those too :) Oh I've always thought Black Ghost Knife were very cool. Would it do well in my 46 Gallon Tank?i Need to wait before I can start cycling my tank :( The surface of the ground under the stand is a bit slanted so my dad is going to buy something to prop it up to fix that. I just want to fill the tank up and add the fish lol, but I need to cycle XD. I have some filter cartilage thing from a 10 gallon, but that wouldnt do much would it? And the maybe I could use the gravel in the my planted tank. Except that would cause all the gunk and stuff to float around in the tank. What should I do about it?
