Gourami injured?

Hello everyone thank you for stopping in to throw any advice at me that you may have! I have two dwarf gourami and the smaller one of the two (I think it might be a female) seems to have something wrong with her mouth. It just looks almost like her upper lip was nipped and now missing if that makes sense? She's eating ok and acting normal. I just haven't a clue what happened unless the other gourami bit her. I'll try to get pictures of it tonight so you will understand what I mean. Thank you all! :)
 
From what I kno ime, dgs are really ready to sex. The makes will be very colorful, while females are usually very plain with little to no coloration at all. If u truly have a m/f, idk what it is, but if they are both male, it's prolly due to aggression and u may have to rehome 1. Males can be downright vicious towards eachother.
