Started a 10 gal tank for my kids had it set a week before easter. The kids then picked out a couple fish on Easter. All the test were good before fish were added the tank was set up for a week before any of the fish where in. Now after 1 week the ammonia level is way yo high. Yesterday I tried the ammonia clear dissolve tabs. It didn't effect the ammonia level at all. The fish all seem happy and very active. The water in this tank is also cloudy (whitish in color). It has gotten a little better today after I did about a 30% water change and vac'd the gravel though I need to get a smaller vac. The vac I have is for my larger tank. I am still very new to fish keeping but have enjoyed reading arrivals on here. Any one have any advice.
