I got them from an ecosystem experiment. My friend didn't want her fish (not sure what kind but it looks very similar to mine but not exactly the same) and gave it to me about 3 weeks ago

Yes sorry i posted to the wrong post bout the mollies, lol nd the way u tell is males have color(blue green, red, purple, black, white, ect) frmales r usually plain.

But these fish are all plain. Even the males. There were hundreds of guppies for our ecosystems and they were all having fry. All of them were a tan color

Im guessin they look like this:
Males: slender nd small, back anal fin is squished.
Females: rounder and thicker, usually larger, back anal fin is open(looks like a fan)

Looks like food particals that they didnt eat, nd yea.... It should be ok

I think, from the pics they are elder guppies which look like this:

Looks like 2 females and 4 males but I could be wrong...

Oh mine rant that colorful. I have 2 pure silvery-gold colored ones. And 4 smaller silvery-gold but more silver with small back spots and wait nm those are them. One of them is chafing my "pregnant" female.

Wheres the black dot, side or by where the anal fin is?

Below the eye. One of them for sure had the stripe thing across the body. But I saw another that didn't have the sripe but were it starts there's a spot

I looked at your pics again nd i see two males nd a female, if they have a dot(besides in the anal area) or any color on them there male, clear female

Here. In the last one you see a male below the female. He has been chasing her around the bowl. Should I move her?

The one chasing her has the most color

Yea, id say you have for males to one female. Do you have another tank and another heater to put in?
