I was having problems with my pH levels and now my ammonia level is super high!!!!!
I finally got the pH level acceptable and I've been doing water changes every other day. I plan on doing a 40% water change tomorrow.
I used the API ammonia lock. Any tips?

A little more info would be helpful. Size of tank, numbers and types of inhabitants, filter(s), water change schedule, how long has the tank been running, pH, ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels. What was the pH, what is it now, and how did you bring it down?
You either have too many fish, are over feeding, have an uncycled filter, or a combination of the above. Regular and possibly daily changes will keep things in check.
I believe ammonia locking additives either bind ammonia or convert it into a less toxic form and these effects are temporary. Zeolite will absorb (or adsorb...don't want the Chemistry police busting down my door!) ammonia and help bring the levels down.
