Hello every one this is my 20 gallon tank i started it 4 days ago. I dont know why its so cloudy i have no clue what to do!! Please help!! I have a 40 gallon filter running as well!!

Well one problem could be dust on the gravel. Did you rinse it first? Did you rinse the driftwood? are there any fish in the tank?

I thought i washed the gravel as best i could. As well as the driftwood but no fish are in

If you washed everything then I'd agree with the other poster, bacteria bloom

have a cold beer and watch the game on tv. it's not a big deal. it will clear up. how are you planning on cycling the tank?

No chemistry is all normal checked 2 times

if there is no source of ammonia there will be no cycle.

read through these articles about starting a cycle. whether you go with fishless or fish-in is up to you.

Just water change and like the others said DONT WORRY ABOUT IT

Just let the tank cycle and it will clear itself up over time

Yup, water clarifier makes any particles in the water clump up together to make it easier to filter out.

It's not just fill and add fish , what ever you try isn't going to cycle because you are not listening ,

First you need some source of ammonia to fuel bacteria and start your cycle
it can be a week may be 2 things need to be tested so you know where your at , once the cycle is finished you need to do a big water change , I am attaching a good guide for you to read to help you understand your new tank ,
