So I just got back from a few days vacation and had my friend adding some ammonia every day to keep my fishless cycle going. When I got back I tested my water and got these readings. A huge pH drop!

Ammonia - 4 ppm
Nitrite - dropped from 5+ to 0 ppm
PH - dropped from 8.4 when I left, to 6.4

What do I do to fix this and how do I know if it hurt my cycle at all

Relax! Just do a big (75+%) water change with temperature matched, properly conditioned water. Wait 1/2 hour and retest your tank numbers. If all seems well, add enough ammonia to bring your level back up to 2ppm. Then just have some patience and wait to see how your numbers look over the up coming days. Your numbers will tell you if the cycle may have taken a hit or not.
