how big it is

what's the easiest way to tell how many gallons a fish tank is?

A tape measured and a calculator. A quick google search can yield a bunch of calculators.

Thanks for the calculator! Finally measured it after spending all day in the tank scraping out the old silicone. Its 75 gallons according to the calculator, hmm... Not bad for just an old tank I picked up for $25
