4-5 would be a good number for a 10 gal as long as it's a frog-only tank. Make sure they are actually ADFs when you get them and not African Clawed Frogs which are different and grow much larger. They might breed, hard to say, depends on sexing and how mature they are when you get them. This site has some good basic info African Dwarf Frog Housing and Feeding
