I have a 4.2 gallon cube aquarium, glass with two packs of rocks on the bottom, plenty of bare spots still.
An Azoo Mignon 60 / Palm filter with aqua clear ceramic media and Foster and smith Blue bonded filter inside.
I am having a hard time seeing the efficiency of the filter, it seems as if the output flow disrupts the input from sucking up debris, and after 4 days of filtering, the debris is still visible.
Also, the intake is a few inches from the bottom, should it be closer to bottom?
I am doing 25 to 50% water changes every other day, and planned to add the sea chem aquarium stability.
looking for advice, suggestions, azoo mods maybe?
I consider the flow to be pretty good, on 100% I get no back flow, and I usually leave it at about 50%.
