The stand we are reenforcing .. The drift wood and the rocks

My dad and I worked on this project together making a stand sturdy enough for my 55g I think it turned out awesome

Woot Woot :) I just wish I had more money but it's really fun using your own things ..... You'll have to post pics too

haha yea i wish i could work (14 goin on 15) to make money bc i cant go over 29 gallons right now (plus it might fall through the ceiling haha) but yea ill post pics once i get my stand built and i love using things i can find in the wild id much rather have a realistic looking tank then one that looks weird

Yeah I want it to look natural. My aquarium came with everything for 119.oo I was stoked ;) and I just used a stand I already had. My dad and I worked hard to make it really sturdy. my apartment is on the first floor thank goodness .

haha yea i cant wait to get mine up and running are you gonna plant yours?

Nah cause I'm not real smart at this whole thing yet :) real rocks sand and driftwood are the limits for me... I'm scared of them:)

Nice colored sandstones .. how big is the tank? That looks like a good sized stone, should look impressive. As far as live plants are concerned ... wait a month or so down the road and maybe do some low maintenance plants like Anubias and Amazon Sword ... I assume your going FW.
