I think my tank is cycled!

I have had my tank running for almost 2 months now. I think it is cycled! I tested my water yesterday and ammonia was 0, nitrite was 0 and nitrate was less than 5.0. Is it normal for nitrate to be this low? I had 6 neon tetras in the tank but one passed away from ich. The other 5 are still alive and they look great.

With that small of a load it's possible that you're reading only 5. Test kits are pretty inaccurate at that low level - but either way, it appears you're in really good shape.
