Ick

I have 2 loaches and a rainbow shark with Ick. My rainbow doesn't like the rid Ick plus, what should I do? She is really stressing.

Heat alone is the best way to get rid of mild cases, but might not have full effect on severe case. I would recommend raising the temp to 86F for a full week and some gravel vacs (Sucks up any Ick on the bottom).

Once a week has passed (with the temp being raised), dont bring the temp down just yet; I would recommend keeping the temp at 86F for a couple more days just incase it is still on the fish. Ick can still effect a fish even when you dont see them (can be in the fishes gills).
