Ideas of other fish to add?

Thanks - they look really nice! One book I have says to add at least a pair, but AqAdvisor says to have a minimum of 5. Anyone know which is more appropriate? Looks like my tank could handle 5 if I wanted to put that many in.

I would say 5. Their schooling fish and minimum number for a school is 5.

It depends on the kind of rainbow. Some of the larger ones are very active and need a 4 ft tank to be comfortable. You could do a smaller type, spotted blue eye rainbows (i've had these, very pretty) or threadfins. Get a group and more females than males as the males tend to stress the females if there aren't enough. I've found the spotted blue eye to mainly inhabit the higher regions.
