Is a nitrite spike normal near the end of a cycle?

Like the tittle says, its a old tank newly cleaned and stocked. My first time, filtering with penguin 350, sun sun 302 and bubble sponge. Everything is about 2 months old.

Says to me that it is more in the middle but would need ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings.

Ammonia- 0ppm
Nitrite- 2.0ppm
Nitrate- 0- 5.0ppm
