Anyone know about the Juwel Rio 125 tank. I have one and it has 2 light tubes, blue and white. I presumed you can switch them individual but I cannot find anywhere on the fitting that would do that, only the main on/off switch. Am I missing something? Can these tubes be used separately? Thanks

If you go into your lfs and say that I have such and such tank do you have the lights for it? They should say yes almost instantly.

As far as the lights go I have a very similar tank. You do only have 1 switch as it controls both lights. It sucks but the 2 lights are a unit and work together or don't work at all. If you where to put 1 night light bulb in and 1 day one in they will only work at the same time.

If you really badly want a day light and a night light you can do what I did. I installed 2 night light bulbs into the original places. I then measured the width and length of the lid and got an led day lighting system. I installed it with the sucker cups proved and double sided tape provided.

You need 2 plug sockets but it works. Turn the led light system on in the day then turn that of and turn the night lights on at night. Hope This helps.
