Like to start an Amazon style aquarium

get some cories, tetras, live plants (amazon swords would be great) and driftwood. Thinking about CO2 injection for the plants? a DIY setup could be put to use. WHen your tank is established you could have a pair of rams.

amazon swords will get far too big for this tank.. IMO
If your already using pressurized CO2 on your other tanks think about building or buying a manifold that will let you share the tank/regulator.
A pair of rams in a 10 gallon hex? that doesnt seem like a very good idea to me either..
again how wide is the tank; I wont be able to help you with picking out a suitable light source without that little piece of information.
