looking for advice .

just started a new project, planted 3 gallon with a under water river seen, , each end is dirt with a pea gravel substrate on top as a cap, through the middle is course sand with slate rock along the side going up like stairs, i have 2 pieces of drift wood arch over as leaning trees or sunken limbs something to that effect, one piece has java moss tied to it and the has riccia moss tied to it, i need add more for hiding places but i have no idea what to do, im in a slump,, and ideas and im looking to hide the pick up tube for my filter. yes i have a hang on back filter.... for now
