It's simple ... ask yourself the following ?????'s

Do they look healthy?
Are their fins displayed prominently?
Are their color bright / vibrant?
Are they moving about the tank?
Are they eating?
Are they breathing normally?

If the answer is all is yes ... I'd say you have happy goldfish.

+1 with jcolon. If you can answer yes to all that, plus your test kit shows ammonia-0, nitrIte-0 and nitrAtes- 5-20...you've got yourself a healthy, happy aquarium
