Molly growth rate?

How fast do Mollies grow. I have a dalmatian molly that is about 2 or 2.5 inches. How much bigger will he get and how quickly do I need to move him from a 10g? There are 4 other fish in the tank 1 male platy and 3 female platies.

I don't know how fast he will grow, but he could reach nearly 5 inches. From experience, they never get that big, but live short lives if kept in small tanks.

Thanks for the info...I hope to move him out in the next two months but that will depend on how quickly I can get and set up my 40g.
