Murray cod starter

Does tank need to be heated? In a copd house and maybe just to keep constant?

What to feed? Easiest stuff to get!

I hope you have a really really big tank, somewhere in the realm of 1000g+ because they get over 3 feet long.

This guy is for my boyfriend and he's wanted a Murray cod for a really long time, I don't know how big his tank is but it's definitely bigger than 3 foot

The fish get to be over 3 foot long.. the aquarium is gonna need to be much much bigger to house these long term.

But to answer your questions, heater isnt needed and they will eat anything and everything that fits in their mouth.

The best advice would be leave these to a large pond and please don't try to keep one in an aquarium. It really isn't fair to the fish no matter how badly you or your boyfriend want one.
