If you have two male gouramis, one will kill the other

What else you have?

Numbers depend on the types of fish you want, and the filtration. Several tetras or danios would be fine. A lesser number of live-bearers. I'd worry about the gourami though. They can get pretty aggressive, not only to each other, but to other fish as well. IMO, downsize to one gourami.

The tank came with 2 pearl gourami 2 danio 2 cories a bristlenose and some guppies

I would think your tank is of sufficient size for what you have in it. If you have both male and female guppies, it could become overstocked quickly though. Hopefully, having a pair of gouramis will curb their aggression, especially if you have a m/f pair.

thanks the gouramis are really peaceful so i dont think i have a problem there i do water changes every week usually about 25%
