Doh!!! I just realized last night that when I filled the tank I used Prime water conditioner. I should have used the aqueon instead. I am using pure ammonia to cycle this tank and now it is going to take longer because Prime messes with ammonia!

Ok, so checked last night and still on track. Just taking a bit longer with the prime is all.

nitrates 0
it's getting there. Will keep checking levels once every 24 hours and feeding ammonia!

added 3ml ammonia
cycle getting into swing!

Wow, I had to practically start all over on this tank. I realized I was under feeding it ammonia and was getting NO readings every day with only 3ml added!
So...
November 25 ---> added 25ml pure household ammonia @ 8:30pm
November 26 ---> added 18ml pure household ammonia @ 8:00pm
November 27 ---> added 18ml pure household ammonia @ 6:30pm
November 28 ---> added 18ml pure household ammonia @ 7:45pm
November 28: ammonia 8ppm / nitrites 0.50 / nitrates 0
November 29: ammonia 8ppm / nitrites 1.00 / nitrates 0 (added no ammonia)
November 30 ---> added 18ml pure household ammonia @ 8:50AM
November 30: will do the regular tests tonight to see where it's at
