Need help with new tank!!!!

Hi everyone I'm new here, I've just ordered a new 160 litre tank (100x40x40). When I get it I'm gonna cycle it properly before putting fish in it. I'm thinking bout milawi chichlids, how many do you think I can have, also what is the best substrate??
