Need Stocking ideas for 29 gallon

So i had some fish commit suicide and others die of ich.. I had two fish left that my cousin wants for his big tanks.. now im looking at fish for my tank.. i want an algae eater and not sure what else.. i like the german blue ram but heard they like water changes alot. do you guys have any ideas? i like lots of color but some smaller fish so i can have more.

How about some corydoras for the bottom of the tank, about 6 of them. Bolivian rams I've heard are hardier than GBRs and look fantastic too! You could get two of them. And you have enough room for either some type of tetra or danio. Get like 7-9 of those! I think that'd be a good tank!

Although you do sound as though you have some fish that you like... What are they?

You could get a school of glo-fish and zebra and leopard danios, and hopefully they would school together. I don't know, though.
