New Aquarium / Fluval 306 Canister

Finished 40% PWC with Prime and API Salt. Tested water after 2 hours --- nitrites are showing 5ppm.

Thoughts?

If nitrItes are any higher than .25ppm another PWC or more are needed to bring it down.
I would do back to back 50% PWC now and test again in an hour. If its still high more are needed.
