New filter

My new filter came today and I am loving it its a Aqua Clear 70, so now I have the Aqueon 75 plus the Aqua clear 70 in my 55 gallon tank.

Thanks for your reply I am getting my 2 Bolivian Rams this week do you think I need to adjust the flow on it , the way it is now it is on the high setting, I heard the rams like a low flow rate

I try both when I have a new tank, I’ll leave a high flow on for a week or or two then slowly lower it to see if they stay in the current or where it’s calm. From there you can decide what you’r fish like.

I don’t have any rams though so take my advice with a grain of salt!

I will defer to Bandit reference ram advice. Reference water flow in general, I have two A.C. 110's on my display tank running wide open. The fish look happy and healthy and the resulting surface water movement keeps the tank well airated.

As long as they are not getting all washed around they should be fine.
Likely they will settle in lower territories around hard scapes.
