Hi i am thinking of getting a fluval ebi tank with
18 cherry shrimp
and 5 harlequin rasboras
would any other tetra or rasbora be better

The ebi is 7.9g. I think that the harlequin get much too big for one of those, plus it's mostly verticle.

I would try to find a nice betta, one that doesn't eat shrimp and looks good. I have few of those, and they're lovely little creatures that you always feel so good saving

Other ideas could be nano fish. Chili rasboras, gold ringed danios, least killifish, dwarf rasboras, I think that dario dario or two could fit... endlers, guppies, there are tons of nano fish out there! Go look and see if there is one that catches your eye
