New to Brackish!!! Figure 8 Puffer!!!

Hey everyone. I couple days I was at my LFS with my wife and she spotted some Figure 8 Puffers and really wants one now. I did some research I found out that you can keep puffer in freshwater setups but will live longer in brackish. So all in all I have a new tank setting up with platys cycling it. I need some advice on how to take care of this fish. Eating habits, tank mates, preferred salinty etc....

The first thing to ask your dealer is the salinity he's keeping the puffer in. Most likely you'll need to convert it to brackish water. They're pretty hardy and feed on bloodworms, brine shrimp, and live feeder shrimp.

Yes it's freshwater they are keeping it in... I'm assuming the conversion from fresh to brackish is gonna probably a week or can I just use the drip method?
