Just got back from my LFS picking up goodies for my first tank. I was looking for River rocks and some driftwood. Young girl in fish said they didn't have any.

walking around the store I found BOTH in the reptile section. and a pretty large selection at that!

so keep your eyes peeled never know what you're going to find

What's the deal with wood from the reptile section? I've heard never to use it because it could be treated with something? I've ready even for reptiles you should get the stuff from the aquarium section. Wonder if there's truth to that?
 
there were definitly a lot of pieces there that didnt look aqarium friendly, but they had a few nice pieces of Malaysian Driftwood that I grabbed.
 
they were Zoo med branded, and I have just checked, they say they are compatible with both reptile and aquarium (even if they have a big snake picture on them)
