Powerhead too strong??

So I just got two 800gph powerheads for my 75gallon tank. I put each on each end to create a whirlpool effect. The fish seem somewhat fine but I want to know if you think the current is too strong for them as you can see them struggle to swim against the current.

Note that the other powerhead is to the left of the intake
 
The current should be fine as long as your fish a place to get away from it and rest. My sump retire puts out 600gph more or less and the Africans love to swim against it and swim through it. Mines on a 100g so there are many spots the current is weak and they rest.
