Royal plecos can get to 11-13 inches but as I said, you could have the 4 schools with the plecos. There just will be more poop to clean up so would have to do maintenance more often.

To update, I got 6 Pristella Tetras yesterday, so I'm going the community route.

a friend of mine had 6 red bellies...he got pretty bored with them...they weren;t very active, but it all depends on what your preference is

What do you guys think about Endlers? Awesome looking fish in my opinion, will they fit in with my community setup okay?

Yeah, sort of like a hybrid. It will mate with guppies, but its much cooler IMO.

Speaking of guppies, what about adding 5 male guppies to the mix? Will they school?
