Purigen is great at removing organics from the water, leaving it sparkling clear!

Highly recommend using it

Good to know as I just ordered some online. But just to be obstinate, my tank cleared up just the past two days. (Maybe it KNEW it's 'dusty water days' were numbered.) LOL

Purigen works startlingly well. I added a bunch of new Congo wood to my tank when I redid it this summer and am still battling tannins. I don't mind some, but my tank was becoming borderline coffee colored. In 2 days with the perigean added, my tank was 100% tannin free. Even though your tank isn't cloudy anymore, I definitely recommend it to get that extra polished look on your water.
