I have sanded the bottom of my tank and is still cloudy. Is there any way to make it less cloudy?

Sand is my substrate so I put sand at the bottom of my tank.

I've heard a lot of people say that sand gets really cloudy. It's my understanding that it's very fine, which adds to it. To help the cloudiness, some water changes and filter floss should help.

What's a filter floss?

Something like polyfil that you can get in the crafts section of stores. Pillow stuffing or quilt stuffing.
