is it better to add all members of a school at once, or to add 2-3 at a time as to not overload the bio filter?

if it helps to know, i'm planning on adding a school of julii cory cats to a 29g that will already contain a platy, a dwarf gourami, and a pleco.

i do a school at a time. just keep a eye on the water parameters.
