My main tank has ICK right now and I am having trouble getting the heat high enough and may need to use a treatment on them. But I have RCS in the tank so I am thinking of picking up this on friday when I get paid and doing a quick set up and moving my shrimp over to this while I do the treatment. I was then thinking it is a really cute tank and would be great for a betta. I was going to add a bit of safe start and move a plastic plant over from the main tank as well as my shrimp for a few days. After I move my shrimp back what would I need to do to keep the cycling going so I can wait for a full cycle before getting a single male betta. My main tank I did fish in cycling and I do not want to do that again... we had way too many casualties.
