Setting up a betta tank

Ph is 7. Ammonia is 0, nitrite is still high 2 to 5ppm maybe higher and nitrate is still 5ppm.

Added more fish food will update tomorrow on ammonia, next full test day is Thursday.

Ammonia is 0.25ppm.

Ammonia is up to .50ppm. I added more to get to 1ppm.

Ammonia still .50ppm, same nitrite and nitrate.

I added tss on Friday, tested the water today. Ph 7.2, ammonia between .50 to .25, nitrite 1ppm and nitrate 40 to 80ppm!

Ok, I'm pretty sure that the tank is cycled. Tested today ph 7.2, ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate 40 to 80ppm. Large water change and then I can get my fish?

Nice! Congrats... yup, looks good to go. Not too big of a water change. 30-50% I'd go 30% your ammonia is low. And nitrate is good. Can't wait to see what you pick out. Good luck! [emoji4] Great job on the patience. It payed off.

Awww, very nice. Nothing in the tank that will snag his tail. They are most delicate out of all, imo. Enjoy! The long tails are beautiful and love to show off. Give lots of room. [emoji4]
