I am going to be purchasing a 75gallon tank soon and I have the whole setup pretty much locked down. Except for the filter.

I plan on having one Tiger Oscar was well as one Jack Dempsey. I plan on having a fine white sand bottom with one large piece of drift wood in the middle as well as 2 caves on either end. How does that setup sound?

The problem is is that I know both these fish are messy eaters and produce a lot of waste. I would like to know what filter you people might suggest, I used to use a fluval with my old freshwater, but I feel as if there may be a better one out there.

Fluvall. I have a Fluvall 404 with 4 fat goldfish. They'd rival your fish in waste production and I have no complaints whatsoever!
