as my tank cycles and gets ready for some puffers i decided to start a snail tank to feed the puffers.

so i have about a 2 gallon tank that im gonna use for this.

i got 6 really really tiny snails from a friend

anyone know what kind of snails they are and if green spot puffers will eat those.

they're so small its hard to take a picture.... they're about 1/4 the size of my pinky nail and they look dark brown

No need to mash em.

What my puffers do is flip em over and suck as much out as they can get, then they start shredding up the shell to get to the rest of the snail. It's pretty cool.

Letting the puffer crack the shell is actually good for them. It wears down their constantly growing teeth.
