I have a 10 gallon tank with eight male guppies. I was wondering if I had room for either an oto catfish or a mystery (apple) snail. I would prefer an oto, but a snail would be fine. I'm still not sure I'm getting either, just thinking about it. 
Snails or Otos?

What he said. Otos are much, much, much, much, much more efficient cleaners than snails. But you're a little bit heavily stocked and it's not good to just put in one Oto. They're pretty delicate, no sense is stressing them out.
Mystery/Apple snails are dirty too and don't clean up much, Nerite is a better choice for your tank.
