Nice pics! How long have you had the tank set up? Since Christmas? Keep an eye on your parameters as a new tank will have to cycle and you will have to do several water changes to keep your fish healthy. Congratulations your tank is beautiful!

I've had it up and running for about a week - 2 weeks now. The readings look good, the temperature looks good, have been keeping up on [acronym:89f5713f29="Partial water change"]pwc[/acronym:89f5713f29] and readings.

You should fill the tank up to the trim (at least), it will look better, and your filter will work better.

Very nice and good luck with the tank! There are a reason you have the water line a little low?

Thanks for everyone's replies!

The evaporation is why the water is so low, I had no idea the water would evaporate that fast! Today was a day I did a [acronym:19af29b2ce="Partial water change"]pwc[/acronym:19af29b2ce] and I filled it up higher near the rim and the filter sounds better. Thanks for the advice!

nice tank, Needs a few more things inside but that will come with time. I still find myself adding and changing the "look" of my tank. That's the best part. I think my fish like it better too so they don't stare at the same thing all the time.

Also, if the water goes too low, the heater may start overheating and once you fill it up to the trim again, it may crack. Try to just add a bit every 2 days or so just to keep it consistent, it puts less stress on the heater.
