I won't be getting it started for a few months but i'm sure i'll be back with a few more questions

A recommendation I have for a canister filter is the SunSun HW 304A or 304B. I have the 304A, rated for 528GPH, and it has a spray bar. I have my spray bar vertically in the tank in a corner, so the flow is diluted and there is 0 surface agitation from that. The 304A is the size of a 5 gallon bucket and has 4 trays, approx. 8x8x3 inches each tray. Holds massive amounts of media. You could get 2 of them, one on each end of your 110. They are 80-90 dollars apiece. You could instead get the 304B, slightly less flow rate and it has a 9w UV built into it. However, the plastic in the filter is not UV resistant and it will break down over time if u use the UV... That's why I got the 304A. Less money and no issue with UV since it doesnt have UV.
Hope this helps, let me know if u have any questions regarding what I said.
