starting a new 20 gal tank

I am starting up a new tank and im wantin to get some small non aggressive cichlids. Any ideas? I want color too!

Non aggressive cichlids? Hhmm? Butterfly maybe but those are tall orders

Rams are pretty much your only option if you want small, hardy and not aggressive. Although I think apistogrammas would work too. Look for bolivian, golden, and german blue rams.

+1! I personally love German blue rams. they are beauties! however I would only put 2 rams in a 20 gallon as they can be kinda territorial. nothing awful, but more then two and you might have an issue. mix them with other fast swimming fish like danios!
