I've been trying to put together my stock before I am done cycling. I really like Dwarf Gourami, neon tetras (shoal of 7), and Maybe 2 Cherry Shrimp?
But, I have no idea on the stocking...

I have a 20 gallon tank. Thanks! :):thanks:

I would look into getting sparkling gouramis and ember or ruby red tetras with endlers guppies.

I'd skip the cherry shrimp with a DG in there. A larger shrimp like amano would probably work fine though. You could also do a group of panda cories too.

If you like the DG go for it. I wouldn't worry about him eating the shrimp (all fish will take a shot at RCS) Mine has never particularly bothered my shrimp though.

I would however start with no less than 10 rcs. They can sometimes die when acclimating to a new tank and that many will breed and be able to sustain a population.

I do like the panda corys though.

In your shoes I would do:

1 - Dwarf gourami
10 - Panda Corys
10 - neon tetra
10 RCS

That should be just about a full stocking for your tank.
